Aloha! My name is Kalia Kaawa and I am an pre-engineering major here at KCC. I am set to graduate with an associate's degree this Spring 2019 and transfer to UH Manoa in Fall 2019 to earn an bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. I am really interested in the sustainability and conservation of the limited natural resources here in Hawaii and try to supplement my academic curriculum with related activities and internships. My career goal is to work in the engineering field here in the islands with a worldview of an environmental steward.

Heelloo, the name is Leialoha, major is NS - Biology and my goal is to be educated enough to educate students as well as the community of Waimanalo and then in from there. Eight years from now I will be educated in the sustainability and environmental awareness subjects. I wish to help the environment thrive through the changes that we as humans need to make.The clock is ticking and it is not going to tick forever.

Coming from the island of Maui, Jordann is a biological sciences major with a passion for revitalizing Native Hawaiian practices with a specific interest in the practice known as la'au lapa'au. She hopes to open her own health clinic as a doctor and focus on bettering the health and lives of Hawaiian people as well as the people of Oceania. She balances her time as a student with the position of Peer Mentor for the Kapo'oloku Program, where she helps students find their individual academic potential.

Aloha mai kākou, my name is Edwin-Lawrence Makawaiikamakanaokuʻuhaku Lenchanko, I am from Waianae, Oʻahu and my current major is Natural Sciences. Some of my educational interests includes marine biology, cultural events and activities, and athletic activities as well. In the future I hope to become a Marine Biologist. I want to be a Marine Biologist because I want to study, or help, the unique marine life; both salt and fresh water.

While working as an Intern for KUPU and the Hawaiian Rare Plant Program at Lyon Arboretum, she discovered a love for Native Plants and has researched how plants and chemistry intersect to create sustainable solutions. Her research projects include: Use of Tropical Oils as Biofuels with Dr. Kathy Ogata and Hand pollination increases seed set in Cyrtandra gracilis.

Originally from Tahiti, Keanu is a vibrant ASNS Biological Science students, Botany STEM Peer Mentor and Ecology Club President. Through the Hoʻomanalowai Summer TRACS Program, Keanu was able to work under the guidance of Eric Tong researching the Reef Interconnevtivity in the Windward Islands of French Polynesia.

Militoni Toetuʻu is a motivated ASNS Engineering Student who balances the responsibility of a full-time job with his academic responsibilities. In addition to work and school, Militoni has participated in a number of community outreach activities, most recently assisting Kaimuki High School with their Butterfly Habitat construction and Kalani High School FFA Club Pathway Restoration. Militoni has worked on the engineering of the Kanaloa Underwater Robot and Buoyancy device for UROV. His undergradaute research includes "Design and Fabrication of a Buoyancy Compensation Device for Underwater Applications" and "Using Energy Loss at Impact to Compare the Intensity of Sports Injuries" both done under the supervison of Dr. Aaron Hanai.

Dylan has worked on various indigenous projects including but not limited to: Engineering a Water Diversion Solution for a Native Hawaiian Māla in Correlation to Calculus with Dr. Aaron Hanai, Project Olonā with Jacob Tyler and Keolani Noa and has served as a Peer Mentor for the Native Hawaiian Academic Advancement Program at Kapiʻolani Community College.

Ronnie is an ASNS ICT student and ICT STEM Peer Mentor and PLUS Peer Mentor at the Kapiʻolani Community College who strives to earn a Ph.D in Computer Science and eventually teach Computer Science. Through the Hoʻomanalowai Summer TRACS Program, Ronnie was able to work with Dr. Jason Leigh at the University of Hawaiʻi Mānoa Laboratory for Advanced Visualization and Applications (LAVA Lab) working on his project, Naturalistic Grasp Interation in Virtual reality Using Conventional Controllers. Through this experience, Ronnie was offered a paid position at the LAVA Lab.

Mahea is a ASNS Engineering Student who is involved in multiple group projects including the NASA funded project, Modelling Orbital Mechanics of a Small Satellite to Monitor Earth's Volcanoes and Martian Water Extraction for Hawaii's Engaged STEM Pathways (HESTEMP). She also worked as an Engineering Intern for R.M Towill Corporation and has lead the Cosplay Wearables Project where she taught community members to soldering skills.
